Walleye and northerns caught in a single fish net.  Containers of all sorts are utilized to hold the fish and the net.  All fish nets must be kept separate in order for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to weight each net's catch as Mille Lacs Band members are allowed a collective quota of fish each year.  The quota changes each year dependent upon Minnesota Department of Natural Resources' regulations.




"Crilling" is the arduous process of removing the entangled fish from the nets.




Once removed from the net, the fish are ready to be weighed by the
Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
